On July 1, 2008, the Mercy regional
communities of Auburn, California; Burlingame,
California; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Chicago, Illinois;
Detroit, Michigan; and Omaha, Nebraska, joined
together to become the
Sisters of
Mercy of the Americas - West Midwest.
